Cauliflower Cheese Cakes

MAKES 8 PATTIES

INGREDIENTS

½ head of cauliflower

1 slice of brown bread

1 egg

50g cheese

METHOD 

  1. Preheat a fan oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Cut the cauliflower into small florets and place them into a steamer over some simmering water for approximately 8 minutes.

  3. Grate the cheese.

  4. Place the bread slice into a food processor and blitz it until its breadcrumbs.

  5. Add in the steamed cauliflower, egg, and cheese. Blend the ingredients together until you have a chunky consistency.

  6. Form the mixture into 8 round patties. Arrange them onto a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes.
