Rebecca McGreevy BSc MSc GMBPsS

Rebecca was born and raised in a village in Leicestershire. In early 2015 she left her job as a nursery worker to move to London where she began work as a live-in Nanny to two wonderful children. In 2016, Rebecca moved with the family to Zürich, Switzerland before returning to London a year later to study Psychology at university. During her time at university, Rebecca was an after-school nanny for several families as well as a summer nanny in Geneva.

Rebecca graduated in 2020 with first-class honours and an award for her dissertation on childhood language acquisition. Since graduating Rebecca has juggled working full-time as a nanny, running Pocketbook Parenting with Maisie, and completing a masters degree.

Rebecca’s passion for childcare heavily influenced her decision to begin a masters in children’s mental health in 2022, at the University of Edinburgh, which she completed with Merit in August 2024.

Rebecca currently lives in West London with her Pomeranian pup, Oatie. Rebecca and Maisie created this website in the hopes of inspiring and informing parents and carers using the knowledge and experience they have collected over the years.
