Maisie

Maisie is a 25 year-old full-time nanny born and raised in the coastal town of Hastings. Maisie moved to London in 2017 to begin a psychology course at Roehampton University, where she met Rebecca. Learning of Rebecca’s childcare experience inspired Maisie to take a part-time nanny job alongside her studies. Maisie had gained a magnitude of babysitting experience prior to university and knew she always wanted to pursue a career in child psychology. In 2020 Maisie graduated with first-class honours, receiving an award for her independent research on communication in children with autism. For the last 4 years Maisie has been working as a full-time nanny to various children ranging from ages 2-16 whilst also beginning a masters in psychology.

Maisie currently lives in West London with her partner, their three cats, Banksy, Sunday & Darwin and their dog, Rory. Maisie and Rebecca created this website in the hopes of inspiring and informing parents and carers on the child-rearing wisdom they have collected over the years.
