Maisie

I am a 24 year-old full-time nanny born and raised in the coastal town of Hastings. I moved to London in 2017 to begin a psychology course at Roehampton University where I met Rebecca. Learning of Rebecca’s childcare experience inspired me to uptake a part-time nanny job alongside my studies. I had gained a magnitude of babysitting experience prior to university and knew I always wanted to pursue a career in child psychology. In 2020 I graduated with first-class honours, receiving an award for my independent research on communication in children with autism. For the last 4 years I have been working as a full-time nanny to various children ranging from ages 2-16 whilst also beginning a masters in psychology.

I currently live with Rebecca in North London with my three cats, Banksy, Sunday & Darwin and Rebecca’s Pomeranian pup, Oatie. We created this blog in the hopes of inspiring and informing parents and carers on the child-rearing wisdom we have collected over the years.
